Between mountain and desert , between the valleys of Dades and Drâa, the Djebel Sagrho is a volcanic massif with beautiful landscapes : gorges, towers and rocky peaks which are strangely reminiscent of those of Hoggar, waterfalls, oases with almond trees, oleanders, palm trees, fig trees and granaries ... This is the winter quarter of the nomads Aït Atta and their herds. Their presence gives a special soul to these mountains ...
Day by day
Flight to Marrakech. Airport reception and transfer and installation at the hotel.
After breakfast, mini-bus to the Tichka pass, snowy in winter. With its 2260m, it remains the highest road pass in Morocco connecting the main roads of south-eastern Morocco. The landscape is magnificent on the northern slope where we observe snow in winter or green slopes in summer. In the south, the landscape changes with a more marked aridity and mountains that join the desert. Lunch in a restaurant in Ouarzazate, then continue to cross the most beautiful valleys of southern Morocco: the valley of the thousand Casbahs, the palm grove of Skoura, the valley of roses, and the Dades valley. At the end of the afternoon, meeting with the team of muleteers in the village of Tagdilt at 1700m. Walk to the bivouac site. Night in tent

Our first walking stage begins with the Tagdilt plateau, crossing the village of Taghssa, then we continue along the valley to the village of Imi n'Ouarg. On leaving the village, we will find a place in the shade of the walnut trees for the midday meal. In the afternoon we climb to the camp site at the foot of the Kouaouch summit. The landscape becomes more and more mineral. We set up our camp at 2100m.
Walking time: 5 hours. Elevation: + 400m.
This is the stage that represents the most positive and negative elevation. We climb to the famous Kouaouch summit at 2600m. The climb is easy and offers a panoramic view of all the Saghro, the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas and to the south the great Sahara. From here we dominate the whole country of Ait Atta. Descent through Aguersidal towards Ikhef n'oulghoum (dromedary head). Picnic break, near a few sheepfolds, then in the afternoon, we hike between several volcano chimneys. Bivouac in Igli at 1700m.
Walking time: 5 hours. Elevation: + 500m / - 900m.
We leave this beautiful and refreshing oasis for an exceptional relief, gorges and cliffs. We will enjoy the picnic in a valley of oleanders, before continuing to our camp near a well at the exit of the village at 1600m.
Walking time: 4 hours 30 minutes. Elevation: - 100m.
Our last stage of walking begins with the plateau of Tifdassine, then while skirting the bed of the river we walk in a pretty cultivated palm grove. It is in this palm grove in the shade of palm trees that we will have a lunch break. Then through the gorges we will reach the village of Handour located on a cliff. We cross a small pass at 1750m before descending to the cottage in Tifratine at 1600m.
Walking time: 6 hours. Elevation: + 150m / - 150m.
we say goodbye to our team of muleteers and take the road back to Marrakech through the wonderful Drâa valley with its date palms, its ksour and its fortified villages. We cross the beautiful Ait Saoune pass at 1600m from where we take in a panoramic view of the M'goun mountains, before descending to Ait Saoune and Ouarzazate. We pass again through the Tichka pass and arrive in Marrakech at the end of the afternoon, installation at the hotel.

Free time in Marrakech and transfer to the airport. Flight to France.
